Terms of service.

acq/ntd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a platform operated from the United Kingdom that connects founders with investors through mutual interest. References to the platform mean the acq/ntd mobile applications, the website at acqntd.app, and any related services.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the laws of England & Wales to use acq/ntd. Founders must have a genuine company in formation or operating. Investors must have lawful authority to invest. We may verify either at our discretion.

acq/ntd surfaces founders and investors for mutual discovery. We do not offer investment advice, broker investments, hold funds, or execute deals. Any conversation, due diligence, term sheet, or investment that follows a match is solely between the parties involved. We are not a party to those agreements and accept no liability for them.

Nothing on acq/ntd constitutes a financial promotion under the UK Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. Any discussion of capital, terms, valuation, or returns must take place off-platform.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree not to impersonate any person, misrepresent any company, or operate multiple accounts for the same individual.

We may suspend or terminate any account at any time where we reasonably believe it has been used in breach of these terms.

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or send unsolicited offers, financial promotions, or sexual content to any other user;
• scrape, mass-extract, or harvest data from the platform, or use it to train models without our written permission;
• attempt to bypass usage limits, verification, or access controls;
• post content that infringes a third party’s intellectual property, is unlawful, or is misleading.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (profile photos, brand assets, posts, messages, etc.). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and serve that content as necessary to operate the platform. You confirm that you have the rights to grant this licence for everything you upload.

We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

Most of acq/ntd is free. Optional premium features (e.g. Black Card, when available) are charged via the app store on which you installed the app, subject to that store’s billing terms. Cancellations follow the store’s rules.

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t warrant that you will find matches, that matches will lead to investment, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that, our total aggregate liability to you for any matter arising under these terms is capped at the greater of (a) £100 and (b) the total amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time from Settings → Sign out, or by contacting us. We may close or suspend accounts where we believe these terms have been breached or where required by law. On termination your right to use the platform ends; some content may remain in backups for a reasonable period.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged in-app or by email; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
